Effective communication – clarity and impact

Every day we communicate with each other continually. We can not avoid it. It has been noted that can not communicate .

Communication is the means by which people exchange thoughts, experiences and ideas. This is the basis for all political, social and business aspirations. Given the reality of life, it becomes clear that a person who is prominent in communication works well in all areas of communication, such as teamwork, managing people, building products and services, and interacting with customers.

Probably worked with people who did not have the right communication skills. You may be embarrassed or frustrated when you worked with them because you were not sure what was happening or what it meant to you. But try not too critical; few people have remarkable communication skills and not enough people are trained in the essence of effective communication. In fact, you may be able to recall a time when you have difficulties in having your thoughts or feelings with someone you spoke to.

Since the requirement for communication in all business environments, learning more effective communication techniques can only improve our working relationships and allow us to spend more time focusing on important aspects of work, rather than destroying the wasteful and unnecessary misunderstanding.

Clarity and Impact

Communication begins with message . The message may be simple: "I want this report to run on Friday." It may be complicated: "Because customer downsizing and recruiting new customers are inadequate, we need a re-sales strategy to attract more qualified customers and allow low-value customers to find a competitor more easily." In any case, a clear message is indispensable as the primary goal of the exchange.

The message is then sent by a sender to a receiver via a medium . For example, a loudspeaker (sender) can speak to the audience (buyers) on the podium via a public address system (media). Or the worker (sender) sends an email (medium) to the customer (buyer) about a new product attribute.

You can see how serious a clear message is. If the sender is unsure of the message, how can the customer possibly understand the intent? In addition, any environment that reduces the amount of context (such as vocal inflexion, sound, facial features, and pacing) can only make the communication less clear.

The most important aspect of communication is therefore the clarity of the message .

The clarity of the message increases or decreases depending on the type of delivery: voice, behavior, focus, and so on. The most powerful messages are those that are not only clean but consistent with each other. If I say, "I like to see a movie with you this Friday," in a unenthused, disinterested voice, the recipient of my message at least doubts my sincerity and I may attribute such intentions that I do not understand. Realizing that it is much more common that says will have the effect of consciously supporting your message with an accurate, effective delivery.
