Stage Fright in business presentations

David is quite confident and has no nervous feelings about giving the speech to his prospective client, since at least with the same performance at least 100 times.

Anyway, you say your presentation as an official conference call or informal dialogue with a client desk, you have a good reputation. Many suffer in their careers because of fear of public opinion. Some have been able to avoid presentations for years and others did not know because it is part of their work.

As a result of public speaking, stage stage, speech turmoil, and fear of concern about power, this affects thousands of careers in the workforce that is advancing in the promotion and ending the job. Stage fear is the fear that it feels nervous and uncomfortable with others. Stage Fright is still the # 1 party in America . Some people are born with abilities, talent, and full extroverted ability and talk or lecture the hat. Most of us can not do this, even though we consider ourselves extroverted. Virtually everybody – about 85% of the population – is actually "stage fear" when they speak. Participating in the spotlight is not what most people want, even though they can fantasy about it.

Against David, Darlene, a 32-year sales manager, was about selling his sales representative with great potential when he started experiencing actors who had long been frightening or anxiety about performance. He started preparing this presentation with a 20-page manuscript, and finally had 10-15 index cards. And he was still extremely upset with the prospect. After experiencing this anxiety over the presentation, he decided to do something as soon as he first supported and lectured on his new work.

Theatrical terror generally fears that others appreciate our performance and sometimes judge us as individuals. You can start minutes, hours, or days before your important performance. Doubts begin to take your thoughts and your body feels the tension and the fear. It is worth noticing the increase in heart rate, sweaty palms, trembling hands, dry throats, and knowing others.

There are several categories in public speaking :

o About 5% of the population is not afraid of public speaking and in many cases looks forward to it. If you are in this 5%, you do not have to read it.

o Another 10% are cautious about public speaking, but they have no real fear.

o However, the vast majority (about 80%) have a mild and severe fear of public speaking; this does not have to be done without us having to, and we are inclined to minimize the possibility of public speaking;

o Then we have about 5% of us who are overwhelmingly and weakly afraid of public speaking.

Public awareness is a common source of stress for almost everyone. Many of us want to avoid this problem completely, but it is difficult to do so. This is also true for extroverting in sales positions. Most people are afraid of the uprising in front of the audience to hold a lecture. Sometimes this can create problems such as missed business opportunities, lost customers, and even delivering promotions that may cost you tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars over your career.

The following strategies help you develop your presentation skills.

first Practice, Practice, Practice : Spend a few moments every day, including the presentation day, exercise what you want to say, and how you will say. Practice alone – so you can speak aloud and the information becomes more and more familiar. Suppose you only talk to a friendly company.

Memorize your opening and closing statements to write them autopilot if you need to. Even if you know your stuff very well, practice is extremely important. The more you give a speech, the easier it will be.

2nd Visualization : Imagine being confident with the crowd when they clap. Imagine you are talking successfully when you focus on being a good speaker. Imagine how you feel about the results of your presentation – positive feedback, getting a large number of accounts, getting your promotion. Imagine this again and again, from the moment you sold your conversation from the moment, and again after the presentation to keep this feeling with you.

3rd Know Your Material : If you do not know your material or are uncomfortable with it, your nervousness will grow. Try your speech or presentation and modify it until you easily see it. Find out what you're talking about. Do your homework on the subject! If you know more, give yourself the confidence you need in your speech and answering questions. Make a sketch. Then, replace our pages with index cards. There may be only a 3X5 index card and you will not even need one card with the experience.

4th There are three main points in the middle: Keep in mind that all your audiences are keen on doing some important points, which makes them a difference. Find out more about your audience, what you want to say to you and tell me. Edit your conversations to be able to do these few points and as a result avoid many complexities that are not really necessary. Do not give incomplete facts or details to the audience. Numerous studies have shown that very few people remember facts or information speakers. Though you may have a lot of facts and information to make it successful, you only need to speak two or three main points. If you want, depending on the topic, the whole conversation can be a key point.

In your speech, ask your audience if you can give them a sense of participation. This gives the audience the opportunity to ask questions about them. One-quarter or half of your speech needs to be discussed with the audience. So you will not look or feel as much as a speech. It's a lot easier and more comfortable to do your work than a loudspeaker!

5th Rest Before Conversation : There are some factors you should think about, and some do not. These include:

o Do not apologize for nervousness . Mostly your nervousness will not appear. If you do not say anything about it, no one will notice it. If you mention your nervousness or apologize for any problem you think, it draws the attention of the audience to this negative aspect, instead of concentrating on the speech, and that is why they are there.

o Turns the nervousness into positive energy . Even the most experienced loudspeakers feel restless or nervous. Take some long, deep breaths. Use your energy to have enthusiasm and comfort with the subject of the presentation.

o Positive Eye Contact and Movement . Use body language with gestures and facial expressions for you. Do not look up or look up the ceiling or down to the floor or look at any of the audience. Instead, scan your eyes as long as you talk. This will make your inconvenience easier and you may feel it is an important part of what you are saying.

o Recall Benefits . It is important for the audience to receive the information they offer. This thinking assumes responsibility and places what they need on the subject.

6th Using Resources : To enhance your presentations and decisions, especially during your career, you can join an organization such as Toastmasters that helps you improve all aspects of communication skills. Or offer a speech supervisor who helps the same way on an individual basis.
